Micro Air® meets Harley Davidson's requirements for capturing grinding and polishing dust at the source using a a flexible height downdraft - backdraft table ducted to an RP2, two cartridge dust collector, providing 99.99%25 efficiencies and a downward velocity of over 250 feet per minute at the table. Micro Air® equipment was painted Harley black to fit well into the aesthetics of their plant.
Six curtained work stations comprised of twelve CAB - Clean Air Booth modules remove harmful dust that is generated in cutting, grinding, and sanding operations on composite components.

Micro Air® WC2500 HYDROMAX™ wet collector ducted to WCDDT downdraft table and a separate grinding wheel station. Flexibility is engineered into the installation with the addition of a damper that diverts the pick-up velocities to either the table or the hooded grinding wheel. The entire installation meets OSHA / NFPA requirements for Combustible Dust while capturing highly combustible aluminum dust.
Micro Air® TM1000 portable collector, equipped with downdraft attachment is ideal for capturing particulate generated in the grinding of small parts.
When floor space is not available an MC3000 ducted to hoods, backdraft plenum, or source capture arms may be used to source capture grinding, sanding, routing, or polishing dust.
Micro Air® RP1 Twister™, single cartridge collectors installed at each automatic grinding station in a NorthEast tool and die maintenance shop maintain a clean, pristine work area, free of harmful dust and contaminants.
Micro Air® OM6000 is designed for multiple pick-ups of grinding dust or mist. Any of the ceiling hung units ie. MX3510, MX6000, MC3000 etc. can include optional source capture modules that allow ducting to various operations. Micro Air's network of Engineered Systems Distributors can assist with sizing and insure that proper transport velocities are maintained.
Source Capture Arms ducted to RP6-2 central collection system, utilizing the additional safety feature of the SA4000V spark arrestor for the drop-out of sparks. Locating the dust collector outdoors saves valuable floor space. Safety and convenience are engineered into the solution.
Micro Air® XA34, EXtreme Air Downdraft Table captures grinding particulate and sparks. Built-in sand trays and spark deflecting baffles over the filters reduce the risk of fire when capturing hot sparks, or burning embers. Micro Air® offers a full line of self-contained downdraft tables to meet size or application specifics.
